You Have Your Voip Telephones. Now What?
If you’ve recently made the switch to Voip telephones, congratulations. It’s about time. Just kidding. Kinda. Voip telephones have changed the way we communicate – it’s now possible to make long distance phone calls halfway across the world for mere pennies at a time.
But did you know that you can access Voip’s benefits on your mobile phone as well? Take Line 2, for example, an app that was just released for Android and allows you a second line that you can use to make 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi calls, as well as dictate a message and have it transcribed as a text. And while you have to pay extra to have some of the extra call-forwarding features and PBX integration made available, this represents a huge shift in the way we communicate.
Imagine the idea of Voip ten years ago. It was silly to think that if you wanted cheap phone calls you’d have to make them from your computer. Who would sit around talking all day? At the time, most didn’t realize the applications to small businesses.
There is even more opportunity in being able to move wherever you want and still be able to call England for pennies. So now that you have your PBX phone system, think about mobile Voip.
