Signitel PBX Phone Systems
VoIP phone systems haven’t been around very long, in the grand scheme of things, but the industry is in the middle of a major growth spurt. In-Stat, a research firm, reports that the mobile VoIP gateway equipment market is set to reach more than $6 billion in just four years.
This may come as a surprise to some, but experts who have been studying the growth of VoIP aren’t among them. Mobile VoIP is experiencing a surge especially in the business sector — many companies, specifically ones that require their employees to travel a lot, are already using mobile VoIP. As the number of people using VoIP, both mobile and fixed-line, continues to rise, so does the opportunity for profit among VoIP telephone providers.
This new direction is a logical one, not least because the majority of broadband networks are now able to support VoIP as a primary service method. It will also allow businesses to save money on their cellular bills. The question now is, when will traditional landline phones become a thing entirely of the past? It’s certainly inevitable, so it’s certainly a matter of when and not if.
