Saving Your Business Money Is Easy!
How easy? you might be asking, and the answer is “super easy.” So easy, in fact, that you’ll probably wonder how you didn’t come up with it yourself.
Your first moolah-saving move is to switch to a VoIP telephone system. VoIP telecommunications services cost way less than regular phone systems, and a lot of places will even let you u Many places will even allow you to keep using the same equipment you have installed. They just need to hook up an adapter to switch it from copperwire to VoIP.
Next, hire an intern or two. Interns are sort of like catchall employees who work for free — you can give them just about any assignment. By no means should you not treat them well, though — give them things to do that they’ll actually enjoy and gain experience from. Giving them travel or lunch fare, or letting them in on some of the perks other employees might get (discounts to various business around town, that sort of thing) is another great way to compensate them. At the end of their term, throw them each a couple hundred bucks — you’ll still be spending way less money than you would a full-time or even part-time employee in the long run.
