A VoIP Systems Conversation
“So I’ve been hearing a lot about these VoIP systems. Do you know what it’s all about?”
“Yeah, these VoIP phone systems use the internet to make phone calls. They have a bunch of different features you don’t normally get on your landline, like call waiting, three way calling, and cheap long distance. That’s the real reason everyone’s switching.”
“Internet phones, huh? So what about cellphones? Are they suffering from VoIP phone service too?”
“Yeah I mean they are, but not as bad as landlines. Landlines are old school. VoIP’s the way of the future. Microsoft just bought Skype for like eight and a half billion dollars.”
“Oh, Skype is VoIP?”
“Yeah, it works on the same principles, but it’s mostly for video chats. If you want all the options of office phone systems, you can get a Samsung phone system installed in the office and it will be much more efficient to call long distance.”
“So is it expensive to install?”
“No, it’s standard installation fees, and then you can start dialing long distance for pennies a minute.”
“Okay, well I guess I’ll make the switch pretty soon.”
“Make the switch sooner rather than later. Or else you’ll just keep spending money like it doesn’t matter.”
