Problems Solved with VoiP Phone Systems
Living in New York presents a lot of challenges for those who are used to rural living. It also, luckily for us, presents us with solutions to that particular set of challenges. For example, New York City is not necessarily conducive to owning a car. I tried it, but once I started paying more in parking tickets than I did in insurance, it was time to look for alternatives. That’s when I began my love/hate relationship with the MTA.
Another weird thing about the city is that the weather is completely unpredictable. This year, it hasn’t snowed but twice. One of those times caught everyone completely by surprise, and rightly so since it was Halloween! In my off the beaten path apartment complex in Staten Island, a lot of people lost power. When the power came back on shortly after, we found that we had lost phone service! A huge problem in our building since our buzzer system is run from the landlines. Thankfully the rental office’s office phone systems were run via the internet. They were able to contact the phone company and get our phone service back up and running. When the city taketh away, it also giveth! It may take away your landline because of crazy weather, but it gives back with great VoIP phone systems that work even when the landlines go down!
